INTERCESSORS' Note 060616

Again, I want to express my thanks to each of you for your prayers for me and for IRM. I have been impressed again with the place Jesus gave to prayer during His earthly life. And, right now, His primary role is intercession! (See Rom 8:34 and Heb 7:25). So, thank you again for being like Jesus in this way.

Here are ways you can pray for us at this time.

Family
Our daughter, Andrea, gave birth to our third grand baby on May 31! We are so grateful for little Merilee Baker! But Andrea's tail bone was in someway damaged during the birth process to make her very soar. Since it has been over two weeks since the birth and her pain has not really lessened, please pray she will be completely restored very soon.

IRM
Three of our IRM reps are or will be ministering internationally. Howard Boyd, our South-Central IRM rep is in the Cameroon now through June 25. Jody Mayhew, our women's rep will be in Lebanon begining June 22. And Steve Hall and his family will be in the Dominican Republic beginning June 25. Please pray for each of these great saints so that they will be greatly used by God in each situation they are in and that God would be better known because more people have come before His throne.

One of my summer projects is to complete a book I am writting on Treating the Lord's Prayer as Real Prayer. I would appreciate your prayers for this project so that it really does reflect His heart and thoughts more than mine.

Finally, please pray for the preparation for the fall Prayer Summits. There are several communities which have scheduled their first Prayer Summits. Pray that "those who have ears to hear, will hear" the Lord's invitation.
